Verismic Power Manager is Added to the PG&E Approved PC Power Management Vendor List

LONDON, United Kingdom:Verismic Software today announced its flagship product; Power Manager has been added to the list of approved energy efficient products for PC Power Management. PG&E offers rebates to business customers who install energy efficient products.
Verismic Power Manager delivers detailed monitoring of system activity and the application of granular power reduction policies to greatly reduce electricity consumption, costs, and carbon emissions. The application is multi-language, multi-currency, features low end user impact, and also provides comprehensive reporting tools to measure and assess benefits.
Customers who purchase and install qualifying product(s) between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2012 are eligible for a rebate. Program dates, offerings, and rebate amounts may be modified or terminated without prior notice and payments are subject to the availability of Program funding.
The requirements for a customer to apply for a rebate are as follows:
- Customer must have electricity distributed by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to the installation address.
- For control of desktop computers only. Some software is only compatible with specific operating systems. Please see Qualifying Software List for more information.
- Qualifying Software List: In order to qualify for this rebate, customers must install software from the approved vendor list.
- Installation must allow centralized control at the server level of the power management settings (sleep mode and shutdown) of desktop computers on a distributed network.
- The software must have a reporting feature that allows monitoring and validation of energy savings.
- Customers must agree to keep the software installed and operating for a period of five years from the initial installation date.*
